A group of six local Boy Scouts created an Eagle Scout project at the former Willowbrook Park site. The project focused on removing invasive species along the creek, replanting native varieties of trees, adding plantings around the playground area and entrance, and repainting the bridge. The project was led by former NLS Technical Committee Member Jeff Parsons. The site is now home to the Burlington Arboretum, and many plants from this project are still in place along the stone walls at the Church Street entrance.
