Transforming landscapes, making our communities greener, and growing connections that matter.

New Leaf Society is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to improve the curb appeal of Alamance County, NC. Through our strong and committed partnerships with local municipalities, we support public landscaping projects that are beautiful, impactful, and sustainable.

Who We Are

At New Leaf Society, we believe a beautiful environment builds shared ownership and increased investment for a thriving community. Our mission is to enhance quality of life and increase our economic prosperity by the beautification of our communities through public and private cooperation.

Our Mission

Since 2007 New Leaf Society has enhanced more than 75 unique sites across Alamance County, from roadways to downtown sidewalks, to community parks.

Our largest project to date, the Burlington Arboretum at Willowbrook Park, is an ongoing, multi-year partnership with the City of Burlington to transform a quiet neighborhood park into a passive recreation destination for the whole community. Other recent projects include parks and roadways in Mebane, Haw River, and Graham, as well as proposed new projects in Elon.
